Our process

How we verify a claim

01

Identify the source

Each topic starts from the primary specification or official documentation, such as a W3C recommendation, an IETF RFC, an MDN reference page, or a vendor's published docs.

02

Reconcile the specification

We check our explanation line by line against the source text. If a source does not support a statement, that statement is removed or marked Pending official source.

03

Track revisions

Every article, topic, and glossary entry shows a last-updated status. When a referenced source changes, we revise the page and record the update.

Our sources policy

All claims trace to official docs

We do not invent facts, statistics, dates, or benchmarks. We do not cite blogs, content farms, or third-party tutorials as evidence. Where information cannot be verified, we write Pending official source and leave the field blank. Dates we cannot confirm are shown as TBD.
